Firmware 2.5.3 für V2600 - Download bei Draytek Taiwan

Hi,

für den V2600(We) ist bei Draytek Taiwan seit heute eine neue Firmware zu bekommen.

Ein neues Handbuch für den Router in der Version 1.5 ist ebenso verfügbar.

Note : The RST file will clear out all existing router settings back to factory
defaults. You must use the RST file if you are upgrading from firmware 2.1r or
earlier, or experience unusual results after upgrading with the ALL file.

Do not then attempt to restore old settings from a backup file made with
from previous firmware. After upgrading, please check that your web configurator
shows the firmware version/build listed above.

multi-PVC support shall be referred to ISP services. You are recommended not to
use this portion if your ISP did not support multi-PVC.

You are recommended to select "UBR" of QoS for internet Access if you only use
one PVC to access internet.

1> "v2k6a253.xxx" is with ADI firmware 42E2EA53. (Standard)

2> "v2k6k253.xxx" is with ADI firmware 41E2BE2C.
(recommended for UK, v2.5.3_UK )

3> "v2k60253.xxx" is with ADI firmware 43E2EAA1.
(recommended for high dB users which are using
ADSL extended line on UK, v2.5.3_UK2 )

4> "v2k6c253.xxx" is with ADI firmware 40E2BE29.
(recommended for Netherland(Holland), v2.5.3_H)

5> "v2k6u253.xxx" is with ADI new firmware 42E2EA53 but PSDM=0x37AB.
(recommanded for Australia, v2.5.3_AU)

1> "v2k6b253.xxx" is with ADI firmware 40E4BE3d. (Standard)

2> "v2k6g253.xxx" is with ADI firmware 40E4BE96. (v2.5.3_G)



PS, 1. You MUST download "*.rst" when your version is before v2.1r.
2. You have to downalod "*.rst" when you meet problems after upgrading.
3. You can set modulation with "T1.413" to try if ADSL meets no sync problem.
4. You can try "v2k6axxx.xxx" or "v2k6gxxx.xxx" ADSL meets link problems.
5. You can use telnet command "adsl dslam gspn" to set DSLAM Chipset Vendor
when you met link problems and DSLAM Chipset Vendor is "Globespan".
You can use "adsl status' to get DSLAM Chipset Vendor information.
You can set back to default setting by "adsl dslam default".
6. Please use v2.3.2 or later version if your router is Vigor2600We/W.
7. The VPI value may be changed, so you have to modify it when you upgrade
firmware from v2.3.6 or before to v2.5.x or later.
8. Please don't back firmware to 2.3.x when you are running on v2.5 or later.
- it will cause carsh problem when your wireless card was Prism 3.0.


[Changes since firmware 2.5.2]

Avoid user to confuse V2.5.2 release firmware with building 4 Feb and 10 Feb,
therefore we re-order the version to v2.5.3 but firmwares are the same as
v2.5.2 that release on 10 Feb.

Please refer to release note about v2.5.2 to see the changes.

[1. Improvements]
1. Improve ADSL auto-detecting.
- The router will set up pvc1 for PPPoE/PPPoA/MPoA when detected it.
2. Improve telnet command "adsl ppp ..." to support multi-pvc setting.
- The router will set up pvc1 for internet access when got "adsl ppp 0 ...".
- else, the router will enable that pvc only.
3. Correct ADSL interface values of MIB-II. Add ADSL-LINE-MIB ( RFC-2662 ).

1. Deny reply for unicast ARP request
2. NAT failure on none directly connected subnet.
3. Fail to configure a static route for a host route.
4. Fail to configure the TCP/IP setting of LAN to LAN profile for the remote
network.
5. Prot. redirection-function failure after a period of usage.
6. Fixed PPTP with CA pass through problem.
7. Fixed UDP fragment problem.
8. Fixed VPI changed problem when upgrade firmware from v2.3.6 or before.
9. Fixed broadcasting IP configuration on the WAN side.
10. Fixed Wan IP conflict in Online status page problem.
11. Fixed can't edit host mask(255.255.255.255) in LAN-to-LAN profile problem.
